Tips & tricks: About email notifications for mandatory or non-mandatory lesson plans

Different clients on the Learn-Wise Go system create different parameters in their lesson plans for various reasons. There are two types of lesson plans on Learn-WiseGo: mandatory and non-mandatory.

Some educational managers assign non-mandatory lesson plans to allow learners to review content such as diagrams, and surgical procedures or to prepare them before the lab training. Others assign mandatory lesson plans to improve product knowledge, or the company has a specific product focus to train its sales representatives. Furthermore, companies need to train their employees annually with workplace compliance training or have updated policies or products for employees.

Here are tips before setting your email notifications in Lesson Plans

Non-mandatory

Mandatory

Administers should include only email notifications they wish to communicate to their learners.

Which email notification should I choose?

The Send Assignment Notification will inform learners they are assigned to a new lesson plan. We

recommend not selecting "overdue notification" or "send reminder notification."

The Send Assignment Notification and Send Reminder Notification are the most important to notify learners especially if they don't log onto the platform often.

Overdue Notification

Why should I not select this?

Your learners will receive notifications very frequently until they complete their lesson plan. This can lead to many redundant emails in their inboxes and subsequent annoyance.

Effective for lesson plans that give users a chance to pass after the due date.
