The Spine IEP Fellows & Young Surgeons’ course had a record turn out this past weekend in Huntington Beach, California. We hosted the largest number of attendees and sponsors to date. Fellows and Young Surgeons from across the world attended this three-day course that has been developed specifically to educate Orthopaedic Spine and Neurosurgery fellows, as well as surgeons new to practice on current topics. Dr. Frank Phillips, course director, led our faculty board in discussions about complex cases that the surgeons have completed over the past year and what advice they learned from them to share with their peers.
Pictured are three Young Surgeons’ – Drs. Gentry, Fanous, & Overley, who are returning Alumni of the course that presented to the Fellows tips and tricks that they learned in their first year of practice. These Alumni have come back to the course to share their knowledge and continue to learn about new products that are on the market from our 42 sponsoring medical device companies.
